Growing up in the great outdoors, I developed a deep love for hunting, fishing, and adventure from an early age. The wilderness has always been my second home—a place of challenge, growth, and unforgettable memories. Whether tracking whitetails through the woods, casting a line into a quiet stream, or hiking through rugged terrain, I’ve always found inspiration in nature and the lessons it has to offer.

Beyond the outdoors, athletics played a major role in shaping who I am. As a college athlete, I learned the value of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork—qualities that translate into every aspect of life, including the stories I write. Today, I carry that same passion into coaching, helping young athletes develop not just their skills, but also their character, resilience, and respect for the game.

While I thrive in the fast paced action of athletics and the adventure of the wild, I also cherish the quiet moments spent with my two children and loving wife. Whether it’s grilling up some delicious BBQ, helping my own children discover the great outdoors, or enjoying the peace of a campfire under the stars, family time is the heart of everything I do.

As a proud Catholic, my faith is my foundation, guiding my life and the stories I tell. I believe in the importance of hard work, gratitude, and passing down traditions that connect us to something greater than ourselves. I also deeply love America, the land of opportunity, freedom, and rich outdoor heritage—values that I strive to reflect in my writing.

With The Hunting Tales, my goal is to inspire the next generation of hunters and outdoor enthusiasts. Through the adventures of Scout and Brooke, young readers can experience the thrill of the hunt, the importance of patience and respect, and the deep connection we share with nature.
